OnePlus teaser image on official website

OnePlus is all set to gear up for an exciting product launch in India, as hinted on their official India website and Amazon India. The company has teased the imminent arrival of the eagerly anticipated OnePlus Nord 3, with specific details yet to be unveiled. However, the teaser has provided a sneak peek into the upcoming device, which is set to feature the iconic slider button on the side and will be available in a striking Green color variant. Along with the Nord 3 smartphone, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, truly wireless earbuds, scheduled for July 5. This twin launch promises to be an exciting event for tech enthusiasts, both for the evolution of the Nord smartphone and the surprise addition of the Nord Buds 2R.

Although the teaser image does not disclose the exact launch date or elaborate on the device’s specifications, it is widely believed that the OnePlus Nord 3 will serve as the successor to the highly successful OnePlus Nord 2. As part of their “The Lab” initiative, OnePlus had previously provided select members of the OnePlus Community with exclusive access to upcoming devices for unfiltered reviews, which included this highly anticipated smartphone.

OnePlus Nord 3 Will Cost Over Rs 30,000

The OnePlus Nord 3 will reportedly be offered in two variants with prices starting at over Rs 30,000 as per Abhishek Yadav tweet. The basic model, equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, is estimated to be priced at Rs 32,999. Meanwhile, the premium model featuring 16GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 36,999. The tipster indicates 90% certainty of this pricing, which suggests a possible slight alteration in the final price. Additionally, pricing may fluctuate depending on any bank offers that OnePlus may introduce.

For context, the OnePlus Nord 2 was launched in 2021 with its base model (6GB+128GB) priced at Rs 27,999, the 8GB+128GB variant at Rs 29,999, and the 12GB+256GB model at Rs 34,999. With the projected pricing for the Nord 3, it appears that the 8GB model is likely to experience a price increase of Rs 3,000.

The official OnePlus website, in addition to the Nord Buds 2R, suggests that OnePlus has plans to unveil three devices at the upcoming launch event. Alongside the aforementioned earbuds and Nord 3, the third device is expected to be the OnePlus Nord CE 3. Detailed information regarding these devices is scarce, but OnePlus is expected to gradually unveil more details in the days leading up to the launch event.

While OnePlus has remained tight-lipped about the specifications of the OnePlus Nord 3, reports indicate that it might be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was previously launched exclusively in China. If these reports hold true, the Nord 3 is likely to boast a sizable 6.74-inch AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution. Powering the device is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, coupled with an impressive 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space.

In terms of camera capabilities, the OnePlus Nord 3 is rumored to feature a triple-camera setup at the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. For selfies and video calls, users can anticipate a high-resolution 16MP front-facing camera. Keeping the device running throughout the day will be a robust 5,000mAh battery, complemented by support for 80W fast charging technology. It’s important to note that OnePlus has not yet officially confirmed these specifications, and as such, they should be taken with caution.
