In November 2022, vivo announced the X90 series in China and now, two of the phones from the series, the vivo X90 and the vivo X90 Pro, are being introduced internationally including in India.
Both the X90 and X90 Pro have similar hardware, including a 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a resolution of 1260p, and are of similar size, both also support 120W fast charging via a wired connection. They also share the Zeiss-tuned cameras. The X90 and X90 Pro are equipped with the vivo V2 ISP, which allows for Super Night Video recording in 4K and AI Night View modes. The Super Night Video function enables video recording in low light conditions, while the AI Night View mode combines 10 RAW images to maintain HDR and adjust colors and tones.
The X90 is equipped with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP 2x telephoto camera. The X90 Pro, on the other hand, has a more advanced camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
vivo did not reveal any details about the pricing of these phones. We only know the vivo X90 will be available in Black and Blue in Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, and Malaysia.
The vivo X90 Pro will be sold only in Legendary Black, which has a leather-like finish on the back. The available markets are: Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Malaysia in Asia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czechia, Austria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, and Serbia.
The X90 Pro+ is not currently available outside of China and its availability for international markets is uncertain.
