Airtel has announced to expand True 5G network to three more cities in Kerala. Here’s everything we know about the availability:

Airtel has expanded its 5G Plus network coverage in Kerala to three additional cities that include Kozhikode, Trivandrum, and Thrissur. The telecom operator previously launched 5G services in Kochi.

In Trivandrum, 5G is available in areas like Vazhuthakkad, Thampanoor, Palayam, and others. In Kozhikode, it’s available in areas like Nadakkave, Kallayi, West Hill, and more. In Thrissur, it’s available in Ramavarmapuram, Thrissur Round, East Fort, and other areas.

“We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more,” Amit Gupta COO, Bharti Airtel, Kerala said during the launch.

Airtel offers 5G services at no extra charge to its 4G subscribers. The company plans to introduce 5G plans when the coverage expands. 4G subscribers do not need to change their SIM cards as they are 5G enabled in the cities where 5G is available.
